I hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday season so far. The Extra People team are getting ready to ring in 2023 and we would like to extend our best wishes to you and your families.

Reflecting on 2022, its been great to see our industry thriving after covid. Not all industries have. We continue to live in a golden age of Film and TV with expectations that it will carry on for a number of years. We are very fortunate to experience high demand from streamers, dedicated to making great content. I hope like me, you’ve managed to catch up on some of the incredible shows we have worked on together.

We look ahead to 2023 with excitement and enthusiasm. More so than ever, we recognise the talent we represent and how valuable you all are to us. Without you, we cannot operate. In 2023, you will see increased engagement between our team and you.

We intend on bringing you more transparency, more clarity on work and hopefully more bookings.

2022 saw a record year for Extra People, with an incredible 61,776 bookings and work expanding nationally more than ever.

We welcomed new team members, taking our booking team to 12, including Beth Cleveley-Hutchinson who many of you may remember from many years at Casting Collective. Beth joined me back in August as part of our senior leadership team - our national sales director. Her wealth of experience is already helping our work grow nationally and expand the EP network. All of which benefit our artists.

Personally, I would like to thank each and every one of you. I know the positives and the negatives to this work, but our agency has one remit… to service our productions and get you work. I promise that in 2023 we will continue to expand, to always look at improving our already excellent service and to get more work for each and every one of you. The foot is firmly on the pedal…

I’d like to also thank my incredible team. They work tirelessly to provide a great service to clients and artists alike. The hours can be long, the inbound messages overwhelming and there are days where they are pulled in every direction. But I love the culture they have built themselves - we go the extra mile, and that’s down to them.
