Personal Service
We offer you a range of over 20,000 artists nationwide, selected over years of being in the business. You will be allocated a personal agent to work with and be given the dedication and service you deserve. We will always offer you a range of diverse and availability-checked artists. We are only as good as the people we send you, so thats why we like to send the best.
When we send you suggestions, we realise you might have to present these to a Director or Producer perhaps... so you want to look like you've gone to the right place. All our artists have been photographed to accurately represent themselves.
Out of Hours Service
We’re well aware of how decisions are changed, call-times altered and important developments happen outside of the 9-5 day. That is why the Extra People team is available 24 hours a day. When you work with Extra People, you will be working with a team member personally allocated to your project who will be available to you no matter what. No confusion, no problems.
In-Person Expertise
We’re more than just an office-based company; our team have all been a supporting artiste or a Crowd AD at some stage. We’ve seen both sides of the curtain and that is why we also offer our Extra People team to help you in-person. We can be on set for whatever reason, from helping with large artist numbers to discussing schedule breakdowns in-person.

We Know Our Artists
Background or no background, we do our background checks. Every Artiste is interviewed and personal details are taken, stored and approved before we ever send them out on set to ensure they hit yours and our high expectations. An agency is only as good as the people they send to production, and that’s why we’re always educating our artists, through interactive training modules and our well-established Advice Centre - the knowledge hub for all things Supporting Artiste.
Launched in 2023, the Advice Centre improves SAs' understanding of the industry and the casting process, covering everything from rate-agreement particulars to wider industry trends. Our monthly newsletters are opened by 20,000 artistes within the first 48 hours of sending them.
The comment sections of our blogs are bustling with SAs leaving feedback, giving suggestions, asking questions and responding to each other's comments. These insights allow us to tap into how SAs currently feel about the industry, the union and production practices.

Your requirements can be very precise. If you're looking for something in particular, we can source those more unusual requests using our extensive database . In the unlikely event that we can’t, we’re more than happy to point you in the right direction for it. Social Media has been a great resource over recent years and we have been able to source people in all areas of the country using our large social media following.

Having originated as the Midlands’ only Background agency, we have grown immensely and now have a range of artists all over the country who have worked on some incredible regional productions. Our artists are often also keen to travel with production, doing stints across multiple counties for the same show.
