We are looking for a Junior Casting Assistant to join our team at Shepperton Studios!
This job is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to begin their casting journey in the UK Film & TV industry.
Extra People have a long standing history of providing high quality service to the best and biggest productions across the UK.
We are looking to expand our team to service a high number of quality projects planned for 2025.

Job Description
This is a tougher job and a lot more detailed than people imagine, requiring a lot of cross referencing, checking lists, as well as being on top of rapidly-changing details. Someone with an adaptable and responsive work ethic with quick-fire working memory will flourish.
This job gives you chance for creative expression, casting faces for many different worlds, including fantasy, space, period, modern and more, with the satisfaction to see your work on the big and small screen!
This new casting assistant will:
Assist Project Managers working on the largest Film & TV productions in the UK
Use their casting-eye to build casting lists
Write availability enquiries to our supporting artists
Quickly respond to the demands and questions of our clients
Complete administrative tasks vital to the functioning of the agency
Be paid an excellent salary with individual and team bonus
What we’re looking for
A good casting eye
An excellent attention to detail
Good writing skills
A great team player comfortable working in groups
Agency or on-set experience beneficial, but not required
Keen understanding of the Film and TV industry
Understanding of Google Docs & Sheets
Close proximity to Shepperton, Surrey is a must
Our office has a few furry friends - all applicants must be comfortable around dogs
The role necessitates in-person teamwork and as such doesn’t allow for remote-working from home. Free parking available.
