Scotland Office Opening

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to help spearhead, establish & lead our new office in Scotland.

Extra People has built a strong reputation and a solid history of delivering exceptional service to major productions throughout the UK, with a particular emphasis on our work in Scotland.

Until now, our operations have been conducted solely from our office based in England. We recognise the importance of having someone local to Scotland and therefore are specifically looking for a local person, ideally based near Edinburgh or Glasgow, who can help us strategically grow our presence in Scotland.

The ideal candidate for this role may possess experience in a background agency or have worked in the crowd department on set and is currently seeking more stability and an exciting new challenge. Our goal would be for you to build and lead a team for years to come.

If you have considered starting your own agency or have gained experience working for others but are eager to go independent, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to leverage your expertise and lead an exciting new venture.

With strong support from our management team, you will have the opportunity to expand our database, forge connections with more Assistant Directors and develop a pipeline of new projects that will enhance our operations in the region.

Job Details

 

Scottish Office Managing Director

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience working at a background casting agency or on-set as a Crowd AD

  • Great understanding of the Scottish Film and TV industry

  • Understanding of Google Docs & Sheets

  • Excellent salary with individual and team bonus

  • Locality to the Central Scottish Belt desired
