Film & TV

London

For Film and TV Productions filming in London & the South East, we encourage people to adhere to the PACT FAA Agreement.

Outside of London

We encourage productions filming outside London & the South East to operate under the Pact/Equity Agreement.


FAA Rates

FOR USE WITHIN LONDON AND THE SOUTHEAST

These rates to came into effect for all new productions from 1st January 2024.

All FAA engagements include a Basic Daily Rate (inc. Holiday Pay) and a Travel Allowance detailed below.

Standard Day
A standard day is 9 hours including a meal break. Day Rates are between 7am - 10pm. Unless booked as a night time shoot - hours outside of 7am-10pm will incur night time overtime rates.

Continuous Work rates
For bookings shorter than a 9 hour day rate - 7 continuous hours (without a meal break) until 10pm. After 7 hours, overtime will apply - if after 10pm night time overtime applies.

Shift Call
For bookings expected to be less than 4 hours between 6am - 11pm.
Overtime will be paid every 15 minutes however, not 30 minutes.

If longer than 4 hours, artiste to be paid a Standard Day rate.

Band Area Amount
A Calls within TFL Zones 1-3 £15.41
B Calls at Elstree, Pinewood, Shepperton, Long Cross, Twickenham, Leavesden and any base / location from TFL Zone 4 and within 40 miles of Charing Cross £21.55
C Any call made at or before 06.00 hours (0700 on Sundays or Bank Holidays) shall receive a supplementary payment of £18.86

Cancellations

  • If the production cancel at any time up to midday 12:00 on the day before the call - No payment shall be made to the Artiste.

  • If a call is cancelled between midday 12:00 and no later than 15:00 on the day before the call - a cancellation fee of 50% of the negotiated rate for that day shall be payable.

  • If a call is cancelled after 15:00 on the day before the call - a cancellation fee of 100% of the negotiated rate for that day shall be payable.

Equity Rates

FOR USE OUTSIDE LONDON & THE SOUTHEAST

These rates to came into effect for all new productions from 1st January 2024.

Standard Day
A standard day is 10 hours including a meal break.
Unless booked as a night shoot, hours before 7am will incur overtime rates.

Depending on filming location, the following travel allowances may apply.

Meal allowances and penalties

Artists are entitled to a one-hour unpaid meal break within 5.5 hours from their call time.
Artists are due a second meal break if they work into overtime, and they are due this second meal break within 5.5 hours of their first meal break (and no later than 12 hours from call their time).

Photographic

The industry standard for a photographic job is £100 per hour. If the Artiste is needed for more than a few hours a daily or half daily rate can be negotiate. E.g. half daily £300 full day £500.

Similar to commercials, featured Artistes will also have a buy out amount – determined by usage of medium and length of usage.

Background on Photographic jobs is normally £120 for a ten hour day.

Night shoots are paid at time and a half of the above rates.
