Rates of Pay

Extra People deduct 20% commission from the Artist on all bookings. If your type of job does not appear to fall under any of these below, or you need advice please call our team  020 3542 3685 or email us.

Film & TV

There are three main union agreements used in and around the London area: the FAA/PACT Agreement, The BBC Equity Agreement and ITV Equity Agreement.

If you are filming outside the South East of England please check with the office for rates of pay.

FAA/PACT Supporting Artiste Agreement

Standard Day
A standard day is 9 hours including a meal break. Day Rates are between 7am - 10pm. Unless booked as a night time shoot - hours outside of 7am-10pm will incur night time overtime rates.

BBC Supporting Artiste/Walk-on Rates

Supporting Artiste
The Supporting Artiste is not required to give individual characterisation in a role or speak dialogue other than crowd noise or reaction.

Photographic

The industry standard for a photographic job is £100 per hour. If the Artiste is needed for more than a few hours a daily or half daily rate can be negotiate. E.g. half daily £300 full day £500.

Similar to commercials, featured Artistes will also have a buy out amount – determined by usage of medium and length of usage.

Background on Photographic jobs is normally £90 for a ten hour day.
